Tracking Progress on Weight Lifting Routine

I think the best weight training tip that EVERY single lifter should use is to keep track of progress. It goes hand in hand with goal-setting and achieving. Just get a $2 notebook from Staples and write down all your lifts for each workout day to see how your exercise weights change over time, so you can do something when gains slow down (like switch things up or take a break). It's so simple to do this but I hardly ever see anyone in my gym with a workout journal..

I mean unless you're Rain Man and can keep track of weights used for each workout to see your short AND long term progression, then youre probably being a lot less productive than you should be. I'm guessing these people are just clueless to the fact that you gotta PROGRESS to get closer to ANY goal in training or in LIFE, lol..sorry for using CAPS but I feel like it should be obvious, but apparently not. Maybe my post here will enlighten some confused lifter's soul in the future lmaoo.
